We are excited to announce that Stratford Vein Clinic is now open for appointments. Varicose veins are treated locally in our newly renovated space at 471 Hibernia Street. To book you free consultation call: 226-786-4515 or have your physician fax a referral to: 226-779-4227.
We look forward to meeting you in person!
Stratford Vein Clinic is dedicated to delivering excellence in treating varicose veins. Our team of medical professionals is here to serve our patients in finding relief from symptoms associated with varicose veins such as: visible veins, pain, discomfort, swelling, aching.
We offer a variety of treatment options customized to alleviate your symptoms and achieve your desired results.
Let us guide you on your journey to having your legs look and feel great again.
Are you experiencing any of the following symptoms?
If you have any of the above listed symptoms you may be suffering from a condition called Chronic Venous Insufficiency. The Stratford Vein Clinic is equipped to assess and offer treatment plans for you.
Generally the first appointment involves a detailed 'mapping' ultrasound of your leg or legs. We will ask questions about your symptoms, measure your legs in case we need to order your customized compression stockings, and take pictures for your chart. Once we have all the information required we can book a consultation with one of our surgeons. No treatment is provided now, but we will make a plan and make sure your questions are answered.
For visible varicose veins your consultation is covered by OHIP with a referral from a medical professional. Ask your doctor or nurse practitioner to fill the consultation request and fax it to us.
Even if your concerns are only cosmetic, we will carry out the same high-level evaluation as we provide to patients with medical concerns. Cosmetic consultations though are not covered by OHIP and a referral is not necessary.
Though we like to think that doctors learn for their entire career, we do not have medical students or residents in the clinic. All our physicians have been in independent practice for many years.
We don't only treat - we educate! When you are well informed about your condition, you take an active part in your healing. Read our blogs and then ask us questions - we'll be only happy to answer them.
You will be awake and we will guide you through the entire process
